Remote Accountant – International Finance Operations

About the role

We are seeking a remote Accountant to support international accounting operations within a fast‑growing global environment. You will maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements, and contribute to month‑end and year‑end closing activities across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions accurately using ERP systems and maintain data integrity.
• Perform reconciliations for accounts payable, receivable, fixed assets, bank, payroll, and intercompany balances.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, including balance‑sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory, VAT, and corporate tax filings.
• Assist with statutory reporting, financial statement preparation and audit support.
• Analyze financial information, identify discrepancies and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate reporting.
• Leverage automation and AI‑enabled tools to improve accounting workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Post‑qualification accounting experience in a corporate or international finance setting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and collaborate with distributed teams.
• Availability to work within EMEA time zones.
