Release Train Engineer

About the role

act digital is looking for a Release Train Engineer in Bordeaux. The role supports the implementation of a release train together with Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and stakeholders, and promotes transparency, communication and alignment across teams.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate the implementation of the train with Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and stakeholders.
• Prepare and run PI Planning sessions (PIPL).
• Run SAFe train meetings such as PO Sync, Scrum of Scrums and System Demos.
• Identify and manage dependencies, risks and blockers affecting the train's objectives.
• Propose improvements to the train's functioning and agile practices at scale.
• Encourage continuous improvement through PI retrospectives and process optimisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating cross-functional work and managing dependencies.
• Excellent communication with technical teams, stakeholders and management.
• Ability to anticipate and follow up on risks and blockers.
• Deep knowledge of SAFe and large-scale agile practices.

Required skills

• Agile, Lean and SAFe methodologies (confirmed).
• Facilitation of PI ceremonies and leadership of teams.
• Conflict resolution and team engagement.
