Regional Head of Procurement

About the role

The Regional Head of Procurement will lead all procurement activities for the France/Africa region, combining operational leadership with strategic implementation of the Group Procurement strategy and transformation agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all procurement activities across the France/Africa region.
• Coordinate global procurement initiatives with other regions.
• Own regional procurement budget, savings targets and performance metrics.
• Drive execution of the Group Procurement strategy and regional transformation programmes.
• Manage relationships with strategic suppliers, oversee innovation programmes and conduct performance reviews.
• Build a high‑performing regional procurement organisation by deploying procurement tools, digital platforms and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Develop procurement capabilities and succession plans for the region.
• Ensure compliance with Group Procurement policies, Delegation of Authority and regulatory requirements, including risk and control effectiveness.
• Participate in business planning and budgeting, translating demand into sourcing strategies.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in direct and indirect procurement.
• Minimum 10 years leading international procurement organisations.
• Master’s degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain or related field; engineering background is a plus.
• Proven track record in procurement transformation and delivering large savings programmes.
• Strong executive stakeholder management and financial/commercial acumen.
• Experience managing regional or global procurement teams in complex multinational environments.

Required skills

• Experience with multi‑ERP landscapes.
• Proficiency in digital procurement platforms and procurement‑specific tools.
