About the role
The Regional FM Director will lead the Facilities & Operations function across a multi‑site corporate real‑estate portfolio, ensuring safe, compliant, resilient and cost‑effective environments that enable business performance and a high‑quality workplace experience.
Key responsibilities
- Set and deliver the regional facilities strategy aligned with business priorities and service scope.
- Provide senior leadership and governance for day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring consistent standards and continuous improvement.
- Own supplier strategy, contract governance and performance reviews to drive value for money and risk management.
- Act as the senior operational point of contact for regional stakeholders, managing escalations to resolution.
- Lead business continuity and operational resilience planning, including incident response and critical supplier assurance.
- Manage OPEX/CAPEX budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and cost‑optimisation initiatives.
- Oversee workplace strategy delivery, including space planning, occupancy management and workplace service standards.
- Ensure EHS, fire/life safety, security and statutory compliance across all sites.
- Govern capital projects and lifecycle programmes such as MEP renewals, refurbishments and site openings/closures.
- Sponsor and embed EHS and emergency preparedness programmes, including training and drills.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading facilities and operations for a corporate real‑estate portfolio.
- Strong governance, stakeholder management and contract oversight capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cost optimisation and service performance.
- Experience in business continuity, risk management and capital project delivery.
- Solid financial acumen for budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
