R&D Global Project Manager with Due Diligence focus

About the role

The R&D Global Project Manager will lead and coordinate project management activities for external opportunity evaluations, due diligence, and potential integration. This role ensures disciplined planning, risk‑based recommendations, and operational readiness while supporting global project management and PMO initiatives as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Lead R&D project management for external evaluations, partnering with BD&L and scientific experts to deliver high‑quality, risk‑driven assessments within accelerated timelines.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable Global Development Plans, optimizing budgets, timelines, and value creation while documenting assumptions and interdependencies.
• Support selected internal therapeutic projects by monitoring critical paths, mitigating cross‑functional risks, and organizing strategic validations.
• Champion PM best practices, ensure data integrity in reporting systems, and facilitate governance reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in pharma, science, or biotech.
• Master’s degree in a relevant scientific or pharmaceutical field.
• Strong knowledge of drug development processes and hands‑on experience in due diligence.
• Proactive business‑partner mindset with strong stakeholder management and critical‑thinking abilities.
