Quality Manager – Rigid Plastic Packaging Plant

About the role

Serioplast, a global leader in rigid plastic packaging, is seeking a Quality Manager for its plant in Langeais, France. You will lead the quality function, ensuring compliance with safety, ISO, and GMP standards while driving continuous improvement across production.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise safety rule application and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Lead the Quality Team, manage priorities, remove bottlenecks, and resolve critical issues.
• Coordinate internal resources to identify and resolve non‑conformities, propose corrective and preventive actions, and communicate with clients and internal functions.
• Implement and maintain the integrated system of procedures and standards, suggesting improvements.
• Verify quality reports and inform the Plant Manager of significant issues.
• Plan and execute internal audits to meet ISO certification requirements.
• Oversee the quality control plan for new and existing products, supporting measurement activities.
• Ensure proper calibration of laboratory instruments using internal and external resources.
• Manage incoming material quality and support industrialisation of new products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Solid experience in a quality department of an ISO‑certified manufacturing company, preferably in packaging.
• Fluency in French and English.

• Measurement instruments and inspection techniques.
• Statistical process control and statistical analysis.
• ISO standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Plastic molding technologies (EBM, SBM, IM).
• Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations.
