QHSE & Social Compliance Auditor

About the role

As a QHSE & Social Compliance Auditor you will travel to manufacturing sites across France to assess labor rights, health & safety, and environmental practices. You will work independently, applying international standards and client‑specific procedures to ensure suppliers meet the highest ethical and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct unannounced audits of client suppliers’ factories, focusing on labor rights, health & safety, environmental security and other relevant standards.
• Identify violations, document findings meticulously, and produce detailed audit reports for clients.
• Maintain the highest level of integrity during audits, understanding the impact of your observations on suppliers, factory staff, and client relationships.
• Participate in client meetings to help design custom quality‑control procedures based on specific requirements.
• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement of operational projects.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Engineering, Law, Economics, Social Sciences or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience conducting QHSE and social audits.
• Recent experience (within 12 months) with SMETA, BSCI, SA8000, WRAP or mixed audits is a plus.
• Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Proficiency in performing SMETA, BSCI, SA8000, WRAP audits.
• Strong knowledge of international QHSE standards and social compliance frameworks.
