Propulsion Procurement Engineer – Future Programs

About the role

The Exploration Company is seeking a Propulsion Procurement Engineer to join its Future Programs Procurement Team. You will work closely with engineering project managers and test‑site teams to secure critical components and services for the Nyx orbital vehicle and other propulsion projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal engineering customers on development needs.
• Source, evaluate and select suppliers for critical and strategic components, managing risk through sourcing boards.
• Negotiate costs and contracts, handling administrative tasks such as NDAs and purchase orders.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitoring on‑time delivery and quality.
• Coordinate with test‑site teams (EHS, Quality, Assembly, Integration & Test).
• Oversee budget, track actuals and forecasts, and report cost performance against estimates.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in a technical/engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the aerospace sector, specifically in procurement or purchasing.
• Proven experience with Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) software.
• Ability to work autonomously under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional European language a plus.
• Applicants must be from NATO‑friendly countries.
