Project Manager – Utility‑Scale Solar & Storage (France)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Project Manager to lead the delivery of utility‑scale solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects across France. The role will ensure projects move smoothly from hand‑over through commissioning to final acceptance while supporting our mission of clean power for all.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate execution of utility‑scale PV and BESS projects from hand‑over to commissioning and final acceptance.
• Monitor schedules, deliverables and milestones to guarantee timely progress.
• Serve as the central liaison between internal teams, EPC contractors, suppliers, customers and external stakeholders.
• Support project planning, risk management and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain project documentation, reporting and contractual compliance.
• Assist with budget tracking and cost control to enhance financial efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to French regulations, health‑safety‑environment standards and company procedures.
• Participate in commissioning activities and hand‑over to operations when required.
• Prepare regular progress reports for management and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Project Management or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in project management or coordination within the renewable‑energy sector.
• Proven experience with utility‑scale solar PV projects and/or battery storage systems.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, international environment.
• Professional proficiency in French (C1) and English (C1).
• Willingness to travel occasionally within France.
