Project Manager – Utility‑Scale Solar & Storage (France)

About the role

Sungrow is looking for a dedicated Project Manager to lead the execution of utility‑scale photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects across France. You will act as the central hub for coordination, ensuring projects move smoothly from hand‑over to commissioning and final acceptance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the execution of utility‑scale PV and ESS projects from hand‑over through commissioning and final acceptance.
• Monitor schedules, deliverables and milestones to guarantee timely delivery.
• Serve as the main liaison between internal teams, EPC contractors, suppliers, customers and external stakeholders.
• Support project planning, risk management and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain project documentation, reporting and contractual compliance.
• Assist with budget tracking and cost‑control activities.
• Ensure compliance with French regulations, HSE standards and company procedures.
• Support commissioning activities and operational hand‑overs.
• Prepare regular progress reports for management and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Project Management or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in project management or coordination within the renewable‑energy sector.
• Proven experience with utility‑scale solar PV projects and/or battery storage systems.
• Strong organizational and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, international environment.
• Professional proficiency in French (C1) and English (C1).
• Willingness to travel occasionally within France.
