Productivity & Gross Margin Regional Program Owner

About the role

Applied Materials is looking for a Productivity & Gross Margin Regional Program Owner to support its growing Field Service Organisation (FSO) in Europe. Reporting to the Regional Central Operations Manager, the role partners with field leadership, Finance, Analytics and the Productivity Centre of Excellence to identify, prioritise and execute regional productivity opportunities, turning performance gaps into measurable results such as headcount avoidance and service profitability. The position is based in one of the European locations listed, preferably in France, Ireland, Germany or Italy.

Key responsibilities

• Own the regional opportunity portfolio: identify, assess and prioritise field productivity and gross margin opportunities, maintain the opportunity funnel and roadmap, and turn performance gaps into initiatives with owners, milestones and expected value.
• Drive execution and value realisation: lead cross-functional delivery from identification through deployment and adoption, track milestones and risks, and apply global standards adapted to regional field needs.
• Govern productivity and GM outcomes: approve opportunities before submission to the Action Tracker, validate headcount avoidance, gross margin and service profitability benefits with Finance and Analytics, and keep portfolio status, forecasts and benefits reporting transparent.
• Lead regional alignment: partner with Field Service Operations, site leadership and functional teams, represent the company in Productivity COE governance and business reviews, and scale proven practices across sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Management or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in program management, operational excellence, industrial engineering, productivity, service operations or a related function.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs in a matrix organisation from identification through implementation and value realisation.
• Strong analytical, business-case, stakeholder-management and executive-communication skills, and ability to influence without direct authority.
• Preferred: Master's degree, semiconductor equipment or Field Service Operations experience, productivity improvement or operational excellence experience, and certifications such as Lean Six Sigma or PMP.

Required skills

• Preferred: Power BI, Tableau or SAP; Lean Six Sigma, PMP or similar certification.

What we offer

• Salary of EUR 67,200 to EUR 92,400 depending on location, hire grade, knowledge, skills and experience.
• Comprehensive benefits package, with possible eligibility for a bonus and a stock award program.
• Travel of up to 20% of the time; relocation is not eligible.
