Product Designer

About the role

Grand Shooting x AutoRetouch is building a unified platform for visual content production and AI‑powered image processing. As the first product designer on a growing team, you will shape the user experience from discovery to delivery and help define the design culture from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑own product solutions with the PM: validate problems, explore options, and define UX before engineering starts.
• Conduct user research (interviews, usability tests, workflow observation) and turn insights into actionable design decisions.
• Design end‑to‑end flows, from low‑fidelity wireframes to high‑fidelity UI, for GenAI, computer‑vision and workflow products.
• Participate in daily rituals, sprint planning and reviews as part of the product trio (PM, Designer, Engineering).
• Build and maintain a coherent design system as Grand Shooting and AutoRetouch converge.
• Audit existing flows, surface UX issues and propose improvements.
• Lead larger cross‑team design initiatives, run discovery sprints and mentor future designers.

Required profile

• Based in Paris and able to work onsite at least three days a week.
• 2–5 years of experience as a product or UX/UI designer with a strong research component.
• Portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end product work, problem framing and design rationale.
• Comfort conducting user research methods such as interviews and usability testing.
• Proficiency with Figma and AI‑assisted design tools (e.g., Stitch, Claude Design).
• Self‑starter attitude: audit flows, benchmark competitors and improve the design system when no brief is active.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
• Interest in eCommerce, visual content production or AI‑powered tools.
