Principal Product Manager – Flight Ops Documentation

About the role

Skywise, the digital services arm of Airbus, is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead its Flight Ops Documentation Management solutions within the Flight Deck portfolio. You will own the product offering, support commercial teams on complex deals, and shape the product vision across business lines.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the standard Statement of Work for non‑complex deals and establish criteria for complex deals.
• Collaborate with Portfolio and Software Factory teams to capture airline requirements and prioritize them on the product roadmap.
• Lead technical and functional definition for complex contracts, assess and mitigate risks during the bidding phase, and provide expertise throughout implementation and support.
• Support commercial teams by delivering clear product policies and technical contractual appendices.
• Contribute market insights to drive the development of new solutions and services.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex digital products in aviation or related high‑tech environments.
• Strong understanding of documentation authoring and management platforms (e.g., FODM – Mission + Doc Manager).
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, sales, and customer teams.
• Excellent analytical skills to evaluate technical risks and translate them into actionable contract terms.
