Primary Years Lead Teacher & Support Educator – Annecy

About the role

Boundless Life is launching a new education centre in Annecy and is hiring Primary Years Lead Teachers and Support Educators for its Pathfinders programme (students 6‑12). The roles focus on personalised, inquiry‑based learning and community building.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure duty of care, safety and holistic well‑being of children.
• Implement the Boundless Education Questing framework and place‑based, interdisciplinary lessons.
• Provide regular updates to parents and maintain learning records.
• Lead small‑group instruction, workshops and extracurricular sessions such as Nature Time, Arts, Science, Cooking and Cultural Immersion.
• Collect and analyse progress data, support IEP tracking and prepare growth reports.
• Collaborate with colleagues, cover for lead teachers when needed and contribute to a high‑standard learning environment.

Required profile

• Excellent English; French is a strong advantage.
• Reside in or near Annecy and able to commute daily.
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred); minimum 3 years full‑time classroom experience for Lead Teacher role.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑changing start‑up environment and communicate clearly.
• Experience with inquiry‑based pedagogy, diverse learners; special‑needs expertise is a plus for Lead Teacher.
