Press Officer – Remote (France)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Press Officer to lead media relations and enhance our public presence from a remote setting in France. The ideal candidate enjoys storytelling, building strong journalist connections, and delivering impactful communication initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and external stakeholders.
• Draft press releases, media statements, speeches, and other communication materials.
• Coordinate media outreach and support press campaigns.
• Monitor media coverage and produce reports on public perception and engagement.
• Support internal and external communication initiatives.
• Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Manage crisis communication when required.
• Maintain media databases and documentation.

Required profile

• 1–5 years of experience in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field.
• Proven experience in media relations and press communication activities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working remotely and based in France with legal authorization for full‑time work.
