Postdoctoral Researcher – Intelligent Context‑Aware Physical Layer Security

About the role

The ETIS Laboratory seeks two postdoctoral researchers to work on AI‑empowered, context‑aware physical layer security for next‑generation communication systems (6G and beyond). The role combines wireless communications, machine learning, and cyber‑physical security within a European research framework.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement adaptive, privacy‑preserving security mechanisms at the physical layer.
• Integrate sensing, machine learning, and network intelligence to develop quantum‑resistant solutions.
• Collaborate with international partners in the TalCyb Chair, PEPR PC8 HiSec, and ROBUST‑6G projects.
• Publish research results in high‑impact journals and conferences.
• Contribute to project management and reporting for European funding bodies.

Required profile

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• Strong mathematical background and proven publication record.
• Excellent programming abilities and experience with research‑level code development.
