Population PK/Pharmacometrics Modeler (Oncology)

About the role

We are seeking a Population PK/Pharmacometrics Modeler to join the Pharmacokinetics and Toxicology team at Pierre Fabre R&D Pharma in Toulouse. The role supports oncology programs, translating clinical trial data into strategic dosing and trial design recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead population PK/PD modeling strategies and provide clear recommendations for clinical development decisions.
• Develop and qualify pharmacometrics analyses, focusing on exposure‑response relationships in oncology.
• Integrate pharmacometrics analyses early in the drug development process to mitigate risk.
• Identify opportunities to enhance understanding of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, safety, and efficacy.
• Author and contribute to pharmacometrics sections of clinical and regulatory documents.
• Represent the team at global regulatory hearings and advisory committee meetings.
• Mentor colleagues on pharmacometrics methodology and contribute to scientific publications.

Required profile

• PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacometrics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 5 + years of hands‑on population PK modeling experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong quantitative background with the ability to communicate complex exposure‑response relationships to diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Expert‑level proficiency in NONMEM.
• Familiarity with mixed‑effects modeling tools such as Monolix (a plus).
• Advanced population PK/PD methodology.
• Strong programming skills in R and Python for data manipulation, diagnostics, and visualization.
