Pharmacovigilance Scientist – Safety Surveillance

About the role

Join Sanofi’s Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance team as a Pharmacovigilance Scientist. You will support an international, dynamic team in safety surveillance across the product lifecycle, helping to identify and evaluate safety signals for both marketed products and those in clinical development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage proactive signal detection and safety management committee activities.
• Coordinate and author safety evaluations and responses to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, including Health Authorities.
• Drive end‑to‑end signal management for assigned products within the One Rare Disease portfolio, in collaboration with the Global Safety Officer.
• Serve as a core member and coordinator of the Safety Management Team, preparing data, slide presentations, and facilitating discussions.
• Partner with the Safety Team on activities related to new drug applications, regulatory filings, benefit‑risk assessment, and risk‑minimization plans.
• Coordinate and oversee outsourced activities such as signal detection reports and safety evaluation reports.
