Payroll & HR Administration Specialist (French)

About the role

Join BASF's Global Business Services as a Payroll and HR Administration Specialist supporting the French HR Services Team. You will work closely with local HR partners, internal departments in Berlin, and external service providers to ensure accurate payroll processing and high‑quality HR services.

Key responsibilities

• Process variable elements and prepare monthly payroll for employees in France.
• Maintain and improve HR administrative processes within HR systems.
• Prepare monthly and annual HR data reports.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory HR requirements.
• Advise French‑based employees on HR topics and answer their queries.
• Collaborate with local HR partners, Berlin teams, and technical service providers.
• Participate in internal projects, identify improvement opportunities, and share best practices across European HR teams.
• Contribute to the digitalisation of HR services by proposing and implementing enhancements.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training or a degree in Human Resources, Payroll, or a related field.
• Initial professional experience in HR with exposure to payroll processes.
• Motivation to deepen knowledge of payroll, social security, taxation, time management, and compensation & benefits regulations.
• Comfortable working with HR systems, preferably SAP HR.
