Onsite IT Support Engineer

About the role

AVASO Technology is looking for an Onsite IT Support Engineer to join its Montbrison office. You will provide hands‑on technical assistance to end users, ensuring that hardware, software and network issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site and remote desktop support for Windows, macOS and Linux workstations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network problems, including TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals and operating system images.
• Manage user accounts, group policies and security settings in Active Directory.
• Deploy software updates and packages using SCCM or MDT.
• Perform routine system audits, ensure security patches are applied and maintain documentation.
• Provide end‑user training and create technical documentation as needed.
• Collaborate with the IT team, log tickets and follow ITIL processes for incident and change management.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop or technical support.
• Strong communication skills in French and English (B2 level).
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
