Officer in Charge of International Development – Paris

About the role

The Officer in Charge of International Development will lead the expansion, structuring, and implementation of Convergences’ international activities. Based at the Paris headquarters, the role works closely with Acted’s global network, multi‑stakeholder ecosystems and high‑level partners to drive strategic growth and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess opportunities for strategic international expansion, including new geographies, themes, partnerships and funding streams.
• Monitor calls for proposals, develop concept notes and full project proposals, and lead grant management activities.
• Conduct ecosystem analyses in target countries and nurture multi‑stakeholder partnerships with donors, institutions, private sector, NGOs and academia.
• Lead donor engagement, negotiations, reporting and relationship management.
• Report regularly on project activities, challenges and performance indicators.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international development, partnership building and fundraising at a senior or managerial level.
• Strong ability to work independently in complex, evolving environments and to coordinate across headquarters, country teams and external partners.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with high‑level stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel frequently and adapt support based on field team capacities.
