New Product Development Project Manager

About the role

As a New Product Development Project Manager within the Operations department, you will lead the end‑to‑end creation of new perfumery and cosmetics products. Reporting to the New Product Development Manager, you will coordinate internal teams and external partners to turn marketing briefs into finished, market‑ready items.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the brand’s product development pipeline, including EDPs, small‑format sets, and scented derivatives.
• Build and maintain robust project‑tracking tools to monitor timelines, milestones, and risks.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (marketing, purchasing, supply chain, quality, regulatory, etc.) and facilitate review meetings.
• Produce packaging artwork and execution documents in collaboration with graphic design and regulatory teams.
• Drive feasibility studies, prototype formulas, and primary/secondary packaging, distributing samples to sales, marketing, and production.
• Ensure projects meet cost, quality, and deadline targets while aligning with the brand’s artistic direction.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in product development, preferably in perfumery or cosmetics.
• Fluent in English; comfortable traveling within France and abroad.
• Autonomous, solution‑oriented, and proactive with strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, international environment and manage multiple projects with rigor.
