National Security Compliance Manager – Export Control & Data

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a National Security Compliance Manager to lead export control and national security classification activities within its engineering department in Marignane, France. The role focuses on managing the flow of national security authorisations, accreditations and related business applications, ensuring compliance with international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage national security flow management activities, including authorisations, accreditations and business applications.
• Lead specific scopes of the export control function, coordinating with the ET workstream leader as needed.
• Develop and formalise compliance processes in the myCES system.
• Support Data Compliance Representative activities and drive process improvements for national security data handling.
• Provide advice, training and tool support to business functions involved in export control.
• Continuously improve export control performance through training, surveys and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• Experience in a design office or with process and business applications/tools.
• Legal knowledge of export control regulations or direct experience in national security compliance.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Creative mindset with the capacity to synthesise and structure information.
• Ability to manage complex, high‑stakes situations and interact with multiple stakeholders.
