Nanofabrication Process Technician H/F

About the role

As a Nanofabrication Process Technician you will work in a state‑of‑the‑art cleanroom, turning wafer designs into superconducting quantum circuits for Alice & Bob’s fault‑tolerant quantum computer. You will operate advanced semiconductor equipment, monitor process quality and help keep the production line running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Execute production and R&D wafer fabrication following approved SOPs and operate a wide range of nanofabrication tools.
• Perform in‑line process characterization (optical microscopy, profilometry, reflectometry) and record data to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Act as Tool Responsible for assigned equipment, carrying out inspections, calibrations, preventive maintenance and supporting corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects to boost throughput, equipment availability and process robustness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, Microelectronics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in semiconductor, micro‑ or nanofabrication environments.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset and ability to work in a disciplined, fast‑growing team.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Operation of nanofabrication equipment in ISO‑class cleanrooms.
• Process characterization techniques such as optical microscopy, profilometry and reflectometry.
• Equipment maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting.
• Process data analysis and documentation.
