About the role

Clifford Chance is seeking a Mid‑Level Associate to join its globally‑renowned international arbitration team. You will work on high‑value, complex disputes involving transnational commercial contracts and investment treaties, supporting clients across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with partners and senior colleagues on international arbitration matters.
• Advise and represent clients in high‑value commercial and investment‑treaty disputes.
• Manage legal research, document review, and preparation of witness and expert evidence.
• Liaise directly with clients, providing strategic guidance throughout arbitration and post‑award proceedings.
• Assist in drafting dispute‑resolution clauses and handling enforcement actions.

Required profile

• Mid‑level legal professional with several years of experience in international arbitration.
• Demonstrated ability to work across multiple jurisdictions and legal systems.
• Strong analytical and drafting skills, with experience in commercial and investment‑treaty disputes.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to manage complex, high‑stakes cases.
