Metrology Technician (CDI)

About the role

Stanley Black & Decker, an American group of iconic tool brands such as FACOM, DEWALT, STANLEY, BLACK & DECKER and CUB CADET, is looking for a Metrology Technician in Champlan. The post is reported as a CDI and is open immediately. The technician reports to the Calibration Laboratory Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue calibration certificates for measuring instruments and torque tools
• Take part in the laboratory accreditation process
• Carry out periodic calibrations and checks of control, measurement and test equipment
• Follow the equipment schedule and update the documentation
• Help achieve the defined objectives

Required profile

• BAC+2/3 degree with competences in mechanics, physics and statistics
• Knowledge of laboratory quality standards (ISO 17025) and experience of internal audits
• Organised, methodical and rigorous
• Good contact with customers and other services
• COFRAC certification
