About the role

The position is an interim Emergency Medicine Doctor based in Dijon, France. You will work within a pre‑hospital emergency network that includes a CRRA, SMUR units, a pediatric SMUR, and an active teaching centre for urgent care. The role can be full‑time or part‑time (minimum 50 % with flexible hours).

Key responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care in pre‑hospital settings, including land and air mobile intensive care units.
• Participate in over 5,000 annual interventions, ranging from primary emergencies to helicopter‑based evacuations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of physicians, nurse‑anesthetists, registered nurses, and ambulance personnel.
• Contribute to ongoing projects such as the expansion of the CRRA, implementation of video‑regulation and AI tools, and development of a “connected” SMUR.
• Support clinical research initiatives and cooperation with security forces when required.

Required profile

• State Doctor of Medicine degree with a specialization in emergency medicine.
• Registration with the French National Council of the Order of Doctors (CNOM) or an equivalent European qualification allowing rapid registration.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong teamwork and communication.
• Commitment to professional development and participation in research activities.
