Médecin addictologue – Stage ou CDI – Sens

About the role

The medical agency Appel Médical seeks a qualified physician specialized in addiction medicine to join a multidisciplinary team in Sens, Bourgogne‑Franche‑Comté. The position can be offered as a full‑time or part‑time permanent contract, with the possibility of an internship arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct half‑hour addiction consultations with patients.
• Collaborate with nurses and social workers on a methadone dispensing unit.
• Assess dependence levels and manage medical care.
• Identify somatic and psychiatric comorbidities.
• Prescribe treatment plans, including opioid substitution medications.
• Provide risk‑reduction counseling and therapeutic education.
• Offer therapeutic withdrawal programs.
• Participate in weekly team meetings and monthly synthesis sessions.
• Contribute to the quality and completeness of patient records.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor degree, registered with the French National Council of the Order of Physicians.
• General practitioner qualification or a diploma (DU) in addiction medicine, or a strong interest in acquiring such expertise.
• Strong listening, empathy, tolerance, and patience.
