Manufacturing Engineer – RF Systems and Sub‑systems

About the role

MVG is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to act as the bridge between R&D design teams and the production floor for advanced RF modules. You will own the build process, turning complex electro‑mechanical and RF designs into repeatable, scalable production realities for antenna measurement and RF safety equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including BOMs, work instructions and process routings for RF modules.
• Define and optimise assembly processes for PCBAs, power supplies and delicate RF components within tight mechanical enclosures.
• Create precise procedures for handling, bending and routing coaxial and waveguide cables to avoid signal degradation.
• Design tooling, jigs and fixtures to support accurate alignment and assembly of modules.
• Establish thermal‑management assembly instructions for heat sinks, thermal interface materials, liquid cooling loops or fans.
• Collaborate with design engineers during New Product Introduction to ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency and testability.
• Provide on‑site production support, lead root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions for build or test issues.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methods to improve cycle time, waste reduction and first‑pass yield.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably with RF or microwave products.

• BOM management and assembly work‑instruction creation.
