Major Account Manager – Enterprise Software Sales

About the role

Datadog is seeking a Major Account Manager to drive new business and expand the footprint with its largest and most strategic clients across the EMEA region. You will work on high‑visibility accounts, own the full sales cycle, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver value‑based solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and engage a targeted set of enterprise accounts while maintaining an efficient sales process.
• Nurture existing relationships, grow the Datadog footprint, and build comprehensive relationship maps for your territory.
• Develop deep understanding of customers’ business drivers and negotiate favorable pricing and terms.
• Identify business drivers, ensure accurate forecasting, and drive deals to closure.
• Collaborate with GTM ecosystem partners and internal stakeholders to support complex sales cycles.

Required profile

• 7+ years of enterprise software sales experience, preferably selling to Fortune 100 companies.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience managing complex account teams and selling new solutions into existing accounts.
• Ability to prospect independently and build a robust pipeline.
• Willingness to travel regularly to client sites across the region.
