Logistics Supervisor

About the role

The Logistics Supervisor will lead the planning and execution of all project logistics for a major engineering contractor in Paris. You will coordinate the flow of materials from suppliers to the construction site, ensuring timely deliveries and safe site operations.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically plan and manage end‑to‑end project logistics, from supplier to on‑site off‑loading.
• Track site deliveries against the Procurement Schedule Report and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate site logistics and traffic‑management routes, holding weekly stakeholder meetings.
• Manage site safety, vehicle operations, and security procedures.
• Organise storage, distribution, and plant equipment logs using the Eida system.
• Implement a ticketing system for haulier access and oversee subcontractor traffic plans.
• Control logistics‑related costs, off‑hire equipment, and site set‑up budgets.
• Supervise, coach, and train site staff while collaborating with internal and external partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of logistics supervisory experience on large‑scale construction projects.
• Relevant tertiary qualification and site certifications.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics regulations, and industry best practices.
• Excellent organisational and coordination abilities.

Required skills

• SAP software system experience.
