Logistics Operations Manager – Spare Parts

About the role

ATR, the world leader in regional turboprop aircraft, is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager to lead and optimise global spare‑parts logistics within its Customer Support and Services organisation. You will act as the central point for all warehouse‑related activities, ensuring seamless support for order fulfilment and issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the warehousing service provider (LSP), ensuring compliance with contractual commitments and KPIs such as SLA, OTD, OQD, claims, cost, continuity and volume.
• Organise and lead regular business reviews (weekly/monthly) with the LSP.
• Oversee logistics standard operating procedures and resolve performance gaps.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects to enhance quality, cost efficiency and sustainability.
• Provide daily support to internal functions for order follow‑up and blockage resolution.
• Collaborate with the service provider on improvement plans and leverage IT systems for operational excellence.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in supply‑chain management, logistics or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in warehousing operations management, preferably in aviation or aerospace.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with logistics regulations and standards.
• Contract management experience with logistics service providers, ensuring SLA adherence.
• Proficiency with logistics management systems: TMS, WMS, EDI (XML file exchange, web‑service).
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, SAP R3 WM/MM modules, SAP BW and Power BI.
