Local Tour Guide – Antibes & Nice

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic freelance tour guides to lead small‑group walking tours in Nice and Antibes. You will share the rich history, culture, gastronomy and cinematic heritage of the French Riviera with curious travelers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre‑designed walking routes for cultural, historic, culinary and film‑themed tours.
• Provide engaging, accurate commentary on local history, neighborhoods, food and arts.
• Answer guest questions, deliver excellent customer service and ensure group safety.
• Represent Best Tours professionally and promote additional experiences when appropriate.
• Contribute feedback to improve tour content and delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering guided tours or presenting local history and culture.
• Strong knowledge of Nice, Antibes and the broader French Riviera (history, gastronomy, art, neighborhoods).
• Excellent public‑speaking and storytelling abilities in English.
• Professional, customer‑oriented attitude and basic sales confidence.
• Fluency in English; additional languages (Italian, Spanish, German, etc.) are a strong advantage.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, and legal authorization to work in France.
