Live‑in Governess/Tutor for Teen with Autism & ADHD – Paris

About the role

A VIP family split between India and Paris seeks two live‑in governesses/tutors to support their 17‑year‑old daughter, who has moderate autism and ADHD. The role starts September 2025 and is based in Paris, with accommodation shared with the teenager in St Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individualized academic tutoring aligned with the American School of Paris curriculum and the teen’s learning style.
• Offer social and emotional mentoring to build confidence, resilience, and independence.
• Develop and maintain structured daily routines that promote predictability and security.
• Teach practical life‑skills such as organization, self‑care, and responsibility.
• Coordinate with parents, school staff, and any specialists involved in the teenager’s care.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience as a rota nanny or similar role supporting children with autism and ADHD.
• Background in special education, psychology, or child development (Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred).
• Fluent in both French and English.
• Patient, structured, empathetic, and able to thrive in a calm, bilingual household.
• EU passport or right to work in France.

Required skills

• Special‑needs training or certification (e.g., autism spectrum support, ADHD strategies).
• First Aid and CPR certification.
