Legal Counsel (Distribution & Competition)

About the role

The Legal Counsel will safeguard AGCO’s legal security by handling commercial, tax and social legal matters, with a focus on distribution and competition law. You will support operational teams, ensure regulatory compliance and contribute to the company’s sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide internal support on distribution, competition and network‑related issues.
• Manage litigation concerning distribution contracts, coordinating with external counsel when needed.
• Assist on compliance matters such as anti‑corruption, GDPR, CSR and ethics, answering queries and monitoring programmes.
• Review, draft and analyse all types of contracts, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Advise operational projects, drafting agreements and reconciling regulatory constraints with business needs.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (M1 or M2) in Business Law or a related field.
• Professional experience in business law, preferably in distribution, competition or commercial law, and compliance.
• Fluency in English, strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of distribution and competition law.
• Experience with compliance frameworks (anti‑corruption, GDPR, CSR).
• Contract drafting and analysis.
• Litigation management.
