Lead Supply Officer – Supply Management

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Lead Supply Officer to join the PIOYF department in Toulouse, France. You will oversee supply management activities for the Saint‑Eloi Plant, ensuring on‑time and quality aircraft deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate operational supply activities for a team handling over 20 suppliers and ~4,000 part references.
• Act as first‑level escalation point for commodity issues and advise on portfolio parameters.
• Launch, steer, and monitor purchase orders on a daily basis.
• Develop and track supplier performance through short, medium, and long‑term action plans.
• Define inventory strategies, set safety stock and lead‑time parameters, and analyse backlogs using Line‑of‑Balance monitoring.
• Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration with Procurement, SCQM, Conformance Management, Program and Planning teams, guiding change management initiatives.

Required profile

• Background in Supply Chain or equivalent technical expertise.
• Strong knowledge of End‑to‑End Supply Chain and extended supply chain concepts.
• Experience managing large supplier portfolios and complex part inventories.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP PEA/PGI (Planning and Procurement modules).
• Familiarity with supplier collaboration tools such as Ordering Cockpit and Air Supply.
• Advanced digital skills, including expert use of Google Suite.
