About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Lab Test Mean Lead Engineer to join its Lab Test Means Design & Realisation department in Toulouse, France. You will lead the development and maintenance of ground‑based simulators and test benches that validate cutting‑edge aircraft systems, ensuring high‑fidelity simulation and reliable test infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical focal point for engineering queries within the assigned Lab Test Means scope.
• Perform cost estimations, scheduling baselines, and feasibility studies for test rig upgrades.
• Coordinate hardware and software modifications, architectural corrections, and level‑2 troubleshooting.
• Integrate simulation models and manage rig‑related safety compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in test‑mean architecture, aircraft systems engineering, or hardware‑in‑the‑loop simulation.
• Broad technical background covering wiring, electrical/electronics, and software integration.
• Hands‑on expertise in hardware and software troubleshooting frameworks.
• Track record of technical coordination and small‑scale project management.
