Junior Financial Controller (M/F/X)

About the role

As a Junior Financial Controller you will join the Global Finance Controllership Team at Royal Canin. Based in Aimargues, you will support the consolidation of 102 units worldwide and ensure the accuracy of financial data within a multi‑billion‑dollar organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist local financial controllers during the monthly closing process and perform quality checks on key performance indicators.
• Prepare balance‑sheet analyses and support the accounting consultation process.
• Strengthen internal controls by clarifying guidelines, improving processes and coordinating tracking procedures such as inventory and short‑term incentives.
• Manage global intercompany reconciliation activities and help roll out new digital tools and process updates.
• Contribute to finance digital transformation projects, including ERP upgrades, new tool implementations and system integrations.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives by setting annual performance targets, monitoring progress and promoting best practices.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance.
• First practical experience in finance (internship or apprenticeship).
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills; French is a plus.
• Collaborative, open‑minded and comfortable working in diverse, multicultural teams.
• Curious, adaptable, proactive and able to follow‑through on tasks.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Power BI.
• Power Automate.
• Experience with an ERP or consolidation system (strong plus).
