Junior Business Development Manager – Life Sciences

About the role

Novoptim is seeking a motivated Junior Business Development Manager to support its Life Sciences and Healthtech clients across Europe and the United States. You will be trained and coached to build a portfolio of biotech, SME, and start‑up customers, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business and marketing plan to acquire new prospects and expand the client portfolio.
• Engage with CEOs and C‑level executives to understand their strategic needs and pain points.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and the CEO to design tailored methodologies and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with the Delivery Team to ensure successful project implementation and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Recent MSc or PhD graduate with a scientific background; additional business training is a strong plus.
• Highly motivated, rigorous, and eager to work at the intersection of science and business.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in French or another European language is advantageous.
• Accountable, adaptable, resilient, and passionate about sales within the life‑sciences sector.
