Jigs & Tool Designer Engineer (m/f)

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Jigs & Tool Designer Engineer to join the OMRIE Robotic Support & Expertise team in Toulouse. You will contribute to the design and integration of jigs and tools for advanced robotic and automation production lines, supporting the industrialisation of future Airbus aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Propose the most suitable jigs and tools integration solutions for specific industrial missions.
• Define technical constraints related to the station, aircraft environment, and macro‑operations.
• Design integration solutions using CATIA V5.
• Perform mechanical dimensioning, including static and dynamic stress analysis, and adjust designs accordingly.
• Conduct safety risk assessments and ergonomic analyses of the stations.
• Validate specifications for line integration and coordinate external supplier contributions.
• Define maintenance plans and required resources.

Required profile

• Strong background in industrial or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience with jigs, tools, and mechanical integration in manufacturing lines.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages (French, Spanish, German) are a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and solve problems creatively.
