IT System Administrator – Rennes

About the role

IDnow is expanding its in‑house IT team in Rennes and seeks a versatile IT System Administrator. You will support internal teams across France, Germany and Romania, ensuring the stability, security and efficiency of the company’s IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the overhaul and hardening of internal IT infrastructure.
• Participate in cross‑border projects and implement common tools and processes at group level.
• Maintain internal information systems in operational condition.
• Provide N1/N2/N3 support for internal incidents.
• Perform routine maintenance of IT tools such as Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP, Azure, O365, JIRA, Confluence and Gitlab.
• Administer the corporate network, including firewalls and Wi‑Fi.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar system‑administration role.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to communicate effectively in an international team.
• Proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken).
• Hands‑on experience with Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) and Windows 10/11 environments.
• Solid understanding of hosting, infrastructure issues, networking, routing, switching and firewalls.
