IT Support Technician Intern

About the role

Datadog's Enterprise IT Support team provides the hardware and software that employees worldwide use every day. As an IT Support Technician intern, you combine theoretical learning at your school with hands-on experience in the team, taking on more responsibility over time while supporting a growing user base. The internship is required as part of your academic curriculum and runs for six months, starting in February, March, April, May or June 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and assist in providing customer service and technical support for employees
• Shadow and support laptop deployment during onboarding and refresh cycles, and collection and account deactivation during offboarding
• Take part in new hire orientations and help maintain hardware and software inventory
• Assist with general ticketing, account management and basic troubleshooting under supervision
• Help create and maintain documentation, observe unified communications setups in conference rooms, and join team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Support MFA/2FA setup and troubleshooting, and observe endpoint device enrollment with MDM tools
• Learn access management principles and follow procedures for basic IT security incident response under supervision
• Develop skills in SaaS tools and IT workflows

Required profile

• Graduating in 2027 with a degree in IT or cybersecurity
• Passionate about technology, eager to learn, and enjoys teamwork and helping people
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and software
• Good English communication skills (French appreciated)
• Curious, problem-solving and available for a six-month internship starting between February and June 2027
