IT Support Engineer (Freelance)

About the role

We are seeking a Freelance IT Support Engineer to join a market‑leading consultancy that serves a global Aerospace & Defence client. The role is based in Toulouse and focuses on delivering high‑quality Level 1 technical support in a secure, fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 technical support via phone, email and ticketing systems.
• Resolve incidents, manage updates and escalate complex issues when required.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and ensure timely resolution.
• Manage support backlogs and meet agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Use and continuously improve the knowledge base.
• Deliver an excellent customer support experience.

Required profile

• French nationality with required security clearance (Habilitation).
• Good written and reading skills in English.
• Strong customer service orientation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a dynamic support team within a secure environment.
