IT Operations Specialist – DevOps/SRE (M/F)

About the role

Join Airbus Helicopters in Marignane as an IT Operations Specialist focused on DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering. You will work within the Support & Services and Manufacturing Services PSL to ensure the reliability, performance and continuous delivery of critical infrastructure supporting helicopter production.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain operational condition (MCO) of infrastructure and monitor performance against SLAs/OLAs.
• Provision new software packages, manage upgrades and drive CI/CD pipelines on a containerised platform (OpenShift/Kubernetes).
• Translate ITIL processes into automated workflows using tools such as Ansible to handle incidents, problems, changes, configurations and events.
• Provide Level‑3 application support for web technologies, perform complex log analysis and troubleshoot HTTP/S flows.
• Manage and optimise the IT and cloud budget for the assigned scope using a FinOps approach.
• Identify and propose continuous‑improvement actions to the IT Product Manager, including product updates and obsolescence management.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in container orchestration with OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Solid scripting abilities in PowerShell or Python and advanced knowledge of Ansible and/or Terraform for infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Deep understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, GPOs, web servers (Nginx, HAProxy) and certificate management.
• Good grasp of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs) and experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix.
