IT Operations Specialist – DevOps / SRE (M/F)

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to join the Support & Services and Manufacturing Services PSL within the PLM department in Marignane, France. The role focuses on ensuring the reliability, performance and continuous delivery of the company’s containerized infrastructure and applications.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain operational condition (MCO) of infrastructure in line with OLAs/SLAs and monitor system performance.
• Provision new software packages, manage upgrades and drive CI/CD pipelines on OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Translate ITIL processes into automated workflows using tools such as Ansible.
• Provide Level‑3 support for web‑based applications, conduct complex log investigations and improve system availability.
• Manage and optimise the IT and cloud budget using a FinOps approach.
• Identify and communicate continuous‑improvement opportunities to the IT Product Manager.

Required profile

• Strong background in DevOps, SRE or infrastructure management.
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with product and engineering teams.
• Ability to automate processes and implement best‑practice operational standards.

Required skills

• OpenShift and Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Ansible and/or Terraform for infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Scripting with PowerShell or Python.
• Linux/Unix and Windows Server administration (Active Directory, GPOs).
• Web server technologies such as Nginx and HAProxy.
• Certificate management and network architecture knowledge.
