Investment Associate – Private Equity

About the role

Our client, a leading mid‑market private‑equity fund, is expanding its Paris investment team. The Investment Associate will support the full investment lifecycle across a range of sectors, working closely with senior professionals to source, evaluate, and execute transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in origination, evaluation, and execution of new investments.
• Conduct financial analysis, valuation, commercial assessment, and due‑diligence processes.
• Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials for internal committees and external stakeholders.
• Participate in discussions with management teams, advisors, and co‑investors.
• Support portfolio monitoring and contribute to strategic and operational value‑creation initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior investment professionals throughout all stages of the investment lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, transaction services, M&A or leveraged finance.
• Strong analytical, financial‑modelling and presentation abilities.
• Fluency in both French and English.
