Investment Associate – Lyon

About the role

ARCHIMED, a leading healthcare‑focused investment firm, is seeking an experienced Investment Associate to join its Lyon office. The role will support the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing opportunities to post‑investment portfolio management, within a fast‑moving, impact‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate healthcare investment opportunities across sectors such as Health‑IT, MedTech, Pharma Services and Diagnostics.
• Conduct due‑diligence, financial modelling, valuation and impact‑return analysis to support investment decisions.
• Prepare investment memoranda, recommendation reports and advisory documents for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in negotiations, deal structuring and execution of equity and debt transactions.
• Monitor portfolio companies, perform quantitative and qualitative research, and contribute to strategic initiatives.
• Attend client meetings, industry conferences and training sessions while ensuring compliance with confidentiality and regulatory policies.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting or related fields, preferably within healthcare.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple time‑sensitive projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French is a plus.
