International Development Officer – Paris

About the role

Convergences is seeking an Officer in Charge of International Development to lead the expansion and implementation of its global activities. Based at the Paris headquarters, the role works closely with Acted’s worldwide network, multi‑stakeholder ecosystems and high‑level partners to shape and deliver impactful international initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess strategic opportunities for international expansion, including new geographies, themes, partnerships and funding streams.
• Monitor calls for proposals, develop concept notes and full project proposals, and lead grant management activities.
• Conduct ecosystem analyses (institutional, private sector, civil society, academia) in target countries.
• Engage, negotiate and nurture multi‑stakeholder partnerships with donors, institutions, NGOs, academia and the private sector.
• Ensure alignment between partnerships, programmatic priorities and event development.
• Report regularly on project activities, challenges and performance indicators.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international development, partnership building or fundraising within NGOs or similar organisations.
• Strong ability to work independently in complex, evolving environments and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, writing and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently and represent the organisation at high‑level forums.
