Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Dataiku's Platforms Infrastructure team is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to help address its evolving infrastructure challenges. The team builds and maintains data platforms centred on the core product, provides production configurations for mission-critical web services, and shares reference infrastructure, best practices and tooling across technical teams. The role spans managed services at hyperscalers down to low-level Linux debugging, and involves participation in infrastructure-related development initiatives. The position is based in Paris and may be considered for remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage internal data platforms for the core product
• Design, deploy and configure production environments for multiple web services
• Collaborate with teams to architect technical solutions and then deploy and manage them
• Develop core product features around cloud services and Linux integration
• Ensure optimal service capacity and robust security for all running workloads and services

Required profile

• Resilience in resolving complex technical challenges, with a focus on root cause analysis
• Effective communication skills to interact with diverse teams across the company

Required skills

• Infrastructure automation, for example with Terraform
• Container technologies and managed Kubernetes clusters
• Advanced Python scripting
• Linux and low-level system troubleshooting
• Networking and compute in a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Bonus: authentication and authorization (LDAP, SAML, OAuth2), configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef), Go, and experience across multiple cloud providers
