Information Technology Support Technician

About the role

Alice & Bob is building a fault‑tolerant quantum computer and needs a reliable IT Support Technician to provide Level 1 and Level 2 assistance to its growing team. You will join a small IT department of six, reporting to the IT Manager, and ensure that employees enjoy a smooth and secure digital experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle general IT ticketing, problem escalation and provide local support for Windows, macOS and Linux workstations.
• Manage onboarding and off‑boarding processes, including automated workstation provisioning, access rights, inventory tracking and equipment return.
• Set up computers, videoconferencing gear, servers and network hardware; maintain mobile device management and security compliance.
• Maintain the inventory of all IT assets and software licenses, and oversee their lifecycle from procurement to end‑of‑life.
• Collaborate with external support vendors, update the IT knowledge base, and drive automation of routine processes.
• Support office moves and any related IT infrastructure changes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical IT support.
• Proficiency with Windows, macOS and Linux environments.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and clear written and verbal communication.
• Fluency in both French and English.
